Abstract:

This dataset contains the code file and supporting figure file for a generated graphical user interface (GUI) that loads binary acoustic files and generates timeseries, spectrogram, and power spectrum plots of the data. This was used in an outreach program to train students in marine mammal acoustic data analysis. Sample ASCII files are included and original sample files can be found in dataset R4.x261.000:0011.
