Velocity profiles were collected by a moored Acoustic Doppler Current Profiler (ADCP) on the Yucatan shelf. The Teledyne 1200 kHz ADCP was moored looking upward at 21.39401°N, -89.25113°E in approximately 9.6 m of water, collecting data from 2018-10-10 to 2018-11-02. The dataset contains the 20 seconds averaged output from the ADCP instrument, as well as a list defining the included variables.

The data were collected at 2 Hz with 41 bins of 0.25 m size. They were averaged at 20 seconds. The center of the first bin is 0.65 m above the mooring depth.
