Abstract:

Oxygen data was collected using optode sensors inside and out of a chimney to look at the total oxygen consumption (TOU) of the soil. Water current (speed and direction), temperature, turbidity, conductivity, pressure data was also collected. Samples were collected in the northern Gulf of Mexico from March 5th to April 16th, 2016.

Purpose:

The oxygen data was collected to calculate the total oxygen consumption of the soil and other observational sensors were used to track parameters within the site.
