Abstract:

The dataset contains the source code of Texas A&M Oil Spill Calculator (TAMOC). The latest version of the TAMOC code can also be freely downloaded from the following link to GitHub: https://github.com/socolofs/tamoc. The modeling suite includes two main plume models namely the Stratified Plume Model and Bent Plume Model to simulate blowouts in stratified and sheared ambients. It also models the physical, chemical, thermodynamic processes associated with the released oil and gas in the plumes.

Purpose:

The model was primarily developed to simulate the near field plume of underwater oil and gas blowouts.
