Abstract:

A Lagrangian float equipped with pressure, temperature, salinity and velocity sensors was deployed during the LASER experiment in the northern Gulf of Mexico in January-February 2016.

Purpose:

Measure ocean boundary layer and submesoscale eddy properties.
