Abstract:

The dataset includes: velocity, holdup, and droplet size distribution data from a large scale experiment of underwater oil release. These data have been used to generate the figures in the manuscript of "Underwater oil jet: Hydrodynamics and droplet size distribution" which is currently in press in Chemical Engineering Journal.

Purpose:

To provide the hydrodynamics and droplet size distribution from a large scale experiment of underwater oil release
