Abstract:

Cardiac output indices of stroke volume and heart rate were collected using doppler flow probes and doppler flow meter connected to a Powerlab data acquisition hardware connected to a Macintosh running Labchart v8.1.4 data acquisition software. All Labchart files were converted to .txt files. A readme file is included for each file. Water quality spread sheets were converted to .csv files.

Purpose:

To quantify cardiac output, heart rate, stroke volume, aerobic scope, maximum metabolic rate, minimum metabolic rate and oxergen consumption in exercising juvenile cobia following 24 hour exposure to 20% HEWAF of oil from surface.
