Abstract:

The dataset includes fish abundance (total abundance and calculated catch per unit effort) and composition (scientific names) of various sites (unoiled and oiled marshes) sampled in three different occasions between the summer of 2012 and fall of 2013.

Purpose:

An evaluation of the marsh fish responses to the Macondo Oil Spill was conducted in the spring and early summer of 2012 and 2013 and fall of 2013 by sampling in both oiled and unoiled marshes using traps.
