Abstract:

This dataset contains the input python scripts and the output data for a simulation of fates of natural gas seep bubbles in GISR G08 research cruises, using the Texas A&M Oilspill Calculator (TAMOC). Three cases are simulated, which correspond to three different dives (H1405, H1406 and H1407) during the GISR G08 cruises. The data contains the time evolution of gas bubbles parameters (size, slip velocity, density, remaining mass of CH4 as isotope of C12 and C13).

Purpose:

To study the fate and transport of isotope CH4 from natural seeps in the MC 118, Gulf of Mexico.
