Abstract:

This dataset reports Acoustic Doppler Current Profiler (ADCP) data collected as part of operations conducted in the Gulf of Mexico. Current velocity was measured from a hull mounted ADCP on R/V Pelican cruise PE15-08, September 18-22, 2014.

Purpose:

These current velocity data were determined in support of ongoing mooring and deep sea lander experiments.

u = Eastward sea water velocity (m/s), v = Northward sea water velocity (m/s); Ensemble #; Date (yyyymmdd); Time (hmmss.ss); N (Latitude, decimal minutes); W (Longitude, decimal minutes)
