Abstract:

Three conductivity, temperature and depth (CTD) casts made from the R/V Pelican in the northern Gulf of Mexico (lease block GC600 and AT357) in conjunction with and support of AUV deployments (Eagle Ray and Mola Mola). Samples were collected May 6-15, 2013.

Purpose:

These CTD casts were made to calculate local sound speed profiles to improve tracking of AUV.
